Application
Ascorbic acid is also called vitamin c. It exists in two enantiomeric forms and is commonly extracted from naturally occurring substances. It is widely used as an antioxidant and a reducing agent.
APPLICATION OF ASCORBIC ACID
-It is widely used as a food additive it combat oxidation.
-It is used as a dietary supplement
-Ascorbic acid is easily oxidized and so is used as a reductant in photographic developer solutions
