Tetrabutylammonium dihydrogen phosphate has been used as ion-pairing reagent in mobile phase for ion-pair HPLC analysis of 5′-mononucleotides from baby formulae.
It may also have been used in mobile phase for HPLC analysis of blood samples to determine acetaminophen.
Application
Its main application is as a fertilizer due to its being a good source of both nitrogen and phosphate nutrients. It is also used as a dry chemical fire extinguisher and in building materials. It is also found in science kits or crystal growing kits as emerald green, amethyst, or aquamarine crystals.
Dosage
How is ammonia used? About 80% of the ammonia produced by industry is used in agriculture as fertilizer. Ammonia is also used as a refrigerant gas, for purification of water supplies, and in the manufacture of plastics, explosives, textiles, pesticides, dyes and other chemicals.
