N,N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) is widely used to compose the solvent mixtures for cellulose.
Application
N,N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) has been employed as an organic solvent for the liquid-phase exfoliation of pristine graphene from bulk graphite. It may be used to compose the solvent system along with lithium chloride (LiCl) for the dissolution of commercial rayon grade cellulose.
Dosage
Dimethyl Acetamide is a colorless liquid with a faint ammonia-like odor. It is used as a solvent for plastics, resins and gums. * Dimethyl Acetamide is on the Hazardous Substance List because it is regulated by OSHA and cited by ACGIH, NIOSH and NFPA.
