Eastman™ DE solvent is used as a coalescent in latex paints and floor polishes, and as penetrating solvent in wood stains.
Application
Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether when used in a 99.9+% pure pharmaceutical grade is safe and well tolerated. Up to half of the applied solvent crosses the skin's barrier and becomes systemic.
Dosage
Used to make soaps, dyes, and other chemicals. Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether is a primary alcohol that is ethanol substituted by a 2-ethoxyethoxy group at position 2. It has a role as a protic solvent.
