COBALT CARBONATE BASIC LR Uses is a precursor to cobalt carbonyl and various cobalt salts. It is a component of dietary supplements since cobalt is an essential element. It is a precursor to blue pottery glazes, famously in the case of Delftware.
Application
Cobalt(II) sulfate is any of the inorganic compounds with the formula CoSO₄ₓ. Usually cobalt sulfate refers to the hexa- or heptahydrates CoSO₄6H₂O or CoSO₄7H₂O, respectively. The heptahydrate is a red solid that is soluble in water and methanol.
Dosage
Cobalt (III) oxide is the inorganic compound with the formula of Co₂O₃. Although only two oxides of cobalt are well characterized, CoO and Co₃O₄, procedures claiming to give Co₂O₃ have been described.
