Carmine is a red compound and is commonly used with aluminum,
iron or other metal salts to enhance its activity.
During smear preparation, carmine is required .
Application
This staining dye “Carmine (C.I. 75470) (calcium-aluminium lacquer of carminic acid) - for microscopy Certistain®” is used for human-medical cell diagnosis and serves the purpose of the histological investigation of sample material of human origin.
Dosage
a dose per fraction of 2Gy in 5 weeks post-operatively.
