STACK SOL GUARD is a ready to use nitrite free, preservation fluid, recommended for the internal protection of wellhead control stacks and other subsea systems that after periods of storage will be commissioned to operate with water based hydraulic fluids.
Application
STACK SOL GUARD efficient anti-freeze, providing storage protection below -35ºC without circulation or drainage problems resulting from ice crystals formation.incorporates corrosion inhibitors to provide both liquid phase and vapour phase corrosion inhibition, effectively preventing corrosion taking place in and above the liquid level, an important requirement when pockets or air entrained within a system.
Dosage
1.Drain off the existing operating fluid from the system. For severely contaminated systems flush with Antisep Biocidal Cleaner at 2% in water.
2.Fill to capacity with STACK SOL GUARD Preservation Fluid Seal off system and store equipment.
3. When the equipment is required for service, flushing the system is not necessary.Equipment should be drained and filled with the recommended water glycol operating fluid.
Chemistry behind this product : RXSOL-16-1692-025 is water glycol based preservation fluid recommended for the internal protection of wellhead control stacks, BOP stacks and other offshore equipment that is being stored for a period of time, before, or between use, and will use a water based hydraulic fluid. RXSOL-16-1692-025 will provide liquid phase and vapour phase corrosion inhibition.

Compatibility with Seals:
STACK SOL GUARD is generally compatible with natural rubber and pure synthetic rubber packings and seals such as Butyl, Viton, Neoprene, Nylon and Silicone.

Storage:
STACK SOL GUARD should be stored in dry conditions. Tops should be replaced on all containers when not in use. All drums, tanks and containers should be clearly marked with the contents and should be used in delivery rotation.
